đźšś ABOUT THIS SONOMA VINEYARD PRINT:
An early March morning at Sangiacomo’s Home Ranch reveals a striking contrast—rows of golden mustard in full bloom lining the vineyard, and a weathered 1944 Chevrolet truck parked proudly at the edge. The scene is a vibrant mix of color, character, and heritage—Sonoma County at its finest.
đźšś A TRIBUTE TO TRADITION AND SPRING
Vineyards hold a special place in my heart, and there’s nothing quite like the burst of color when mustard blooms between the rows in late winter. These golden blossoms, used as a cover crop to enrich the soil, transform the land into a radiant sea of yellow that sweeps across the valley.
As a longtime wine club member at Sangiacomo Vineyards, I knew this bloom would be something special. I reached out, hopeful to capture the season at its peak—and was grateful to be welcomed into the Home Ranch property, known for its beloved Chardonnay vines. But beyond the vines, I wanted to include a symbol of the Sangiacomo family legacy: their vintage Chevy truck, still standing tall as a nod to their roots and hard-earned history.
This image captures more than a pretty scene—it’s a blend of natural renewal and human story, rustic charm and vibrant life. It celebrates Sonoma’s agricultural soul.
Days my gratitude are higher than my expectations are really good days, and this was one of them.
