🌿 A PIECE OF MY JOURNEY, JUST FOR YOU

There’s something grounding about walking among giants. I took this photo while visiting the amphitheater in Armstrong Redwoods, one of my favorite places in Sonoma County. The damp wood, filtered light, and absolute hush of the forest make it feel like a sanctuary.

As a veteran, these spaces give me what the ocean once did—perspective, peace, and a connection to something bigger than myself. The symmetry of the bench rows leading into wild green growth struck me as a perfect metaphor: structure and wildness existing side by side.
