🌄 ABOUT THIS LANDSCAPE:
Transport yourself to the golden hills of Petaluma, California. This fine art landscape captures a serene moment at Helen Putnam Regional Park—where soft ridgelines, sun-drenched grass, and meandering shadows roll across the land. Taken just after a passing storm, the light broke through in perfect harmony, illuminating Sonoma County’s timeless beauty.
🌿 A PIECE OF MY JOURNEY, JUST FOR YOU
This photograph was created during a quiet hike through Helen Putnam Park, just outside Petaluma. It’s one of my favorite local spots—peaceful, expansive, and brimming with the kind of everyday beauty that often goes unnoticed. As someone who grew up among the hills of Eastern Kentucky, this landscape feels like a West Coast echo of home.
After 27 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, I’ve come to value the stillness and grounding that places like this offer. Capturing this scene reminded me that even after the storms—whether in nature or in life—there’s light waiting to pour in.
Whether you’re a nature lover, a NorCal local, or someone who just needs a breath of calm on your wall, this image brings spaciousness, light, and renewal into any room.
From my lens to your home—thank you for supporting this journey. 🌄
